(3) Three Things you Found Out
(2) Two Interesting Things
(1) One Question you still have

THREE THINGS I LEARNED
1. I learned that learners were categorized to different Generation. For every generations, they have different characteristics, which created a challenge to the teachers when it comes to deciding what methods, approaches, and teaching strategies would fit best for learners from a particular generation.
2. I also learned that people who were born from 2010 – present are called Generation Alpha.
3. Generation Alpha being the newest generation, researchers have found out that These children are the most connected, educated, and sophisticated generation ever, so when educating, a school should provide an environment that enhances learning for these digital integrator.
TWO INTERESTING THINGS
Two interesting things i found in the discussion:
1. Generation Alpha has become the bunch of learners who are very unique among all other generations.
2. The learning environment of the 21st century learner should be technology integrated
Rather self-explanatory and covered very well in other sections of this site. It involves more than just use of technology, but students using technology to achieve goals in a different way than was possible before.
It should also be a Collaborative Environment. Many students prefer to work alone. However, this is an option not often granted in careers. • In addition, collaboration fosters the development of new ideas and exposes students to opposing viewpoints.
It should be open for Opportunities for Creative Expression. This is where many schools will add an ‘A’ to form STEAM. Creative expression not only yields surprising outbursts of understanding, but also builds student confidence.
ONE QUESTION I STILL HAVE
Since learners from the newest generation are said to be the most technology dependent and experts, It would be a challenge for teachers here in the Philippines because the facilities were not that updated, especially to remote areas. Possible effect of this scenario is the degradation of the learners’ chance to be globally competitive.
